Cork International
Airport was built in 1961 and today it is one of the fastest growing
regional airports in Europe with facilities for passengers better

Facilities
The airport has many good restaurants and cafes. Café Kylemore
located on the first floor, is open from 05:00 to 20:30, and caters
to all tastes. The Wild Geese Bar/Lounge is also located on the
first floor and is open from first arrival until the last departure.
There is no post office at the airport, but postage stamps can
be purchased at the Sky shop located on the ground floor of the
terminal building. A post box is located beside the information
desk in the main terminal.
Shopping and money
At Cork the banking facilities are open from 07:30 to 17:30. The
bureaux de change facility operates Monday to Friday from 06:45
to 20:00. Outside of these hours, there is a currency exchange machine
located on the ground floor. ATM machines are located on the ground
floor and will dispense both sterling and euro.
Disability assistance
Disabled passengers are well provided for and a 'take to plane'
service is available when required.
