Canada is world's one of the most thrilling travel destinations
in the world. It has lots of interesting cities, like North
Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal. Along with that, the country
has some of the most extraordinary landscapes, great for outdoor
actions, like skiing, hiking, fishing or rafting. Canada boasts
a wide, multi culture environ, which the people celebrate
with honor and pride. Full of pleasant surprises, Canada can
be described as the most amazingly gorgeous country in the
world.
MONTREAL, Canada's second-largest city will offer you some
of the finest aspects of the two continents. In the famous
quarter of Vieux-Montréal, the squares and streets
are flanked by well-tended buildings, from the giant Basilique
de Notre-Dame and Chapelle de Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours, to
glossy and stately commercial complexes. Under the forests
of Mont Royal, you will discover downtown's avenues and green
squares, which are alive from the dawn to night for the travelers
beneath the ground, lies the walkways of the Underground Cit.
The wonderful Metro system connects the nodal points of the
city, whilst towards the eastern environs; the State Olympique's
leaning tower outshines the massive Jardin Botanique, only
second in internationally only to London's Kew Gardens. Do
not miss Montreal, even if you are a weeklong trip to Canada
This is the capital of the country, however, Ottawa struggles
with its reputation as a bureaucratic maze of little charm and
character. In 1857 Queen Victoria, inspired by some refined
watercolors, declared Ottawa the capital of the country, leaving
Toronto and Montréal smarting at their rebuff.
Ottawa is a lively cosmopolitan city of more than 330,000
people with a clutch of amazing national museums, setting
by pleasant riverside and excellent cultural facilities like
the National Arts Centre, adds to that the acres of parks
and gardens and miles and miles of bicycle and jogging grassland.
A must see for a visitor who is interested in history and
the times gone by.
Now that's everybody's favorite and certainly will take you
by storm if this is your maiden visit to the country. Every
year 18 million tourists come here by train, plane, bus, boat,
automobile and sometimes by foot to have a glimpse of what
has been regarded as one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
A two hours drive from Toronto, the Niagara Falls has undergone
many transformation and facelifts through the ages: from being
the spot of one of the Seventh Wonders and the Capital of
Honeymoon to being the current all-season family holiday Casino
Niagara with one hundred thousand square feet of gaming space!
Hence a city revitalizes itself with regular renovation; while
at the same time take care of the traditions that got it to
this point.
Situated 556 above sea levels, Toronto is filled with attractions,
city parks, museums, galleries, special sites and lots more.
One of the city's greatest pleasures remains in getting the
feel of Toronto's diversity; however, the loads of attention
grabbing sights mostly clustered in the city centre. The most
celebrated of them is the world's tallest freestanding structure
CN Tower. Next to it lays the SkyDome sports stadium. The city's
other premium attractions are led by the Art Gallery of Ontario,
which has a most amazing selection of Canadian painting, and
the Royal Ontario Museum, where the pride of place goes to the
ancient Chinese collection. However it is the pick of Toronto's
slighter, less-visited galleries and period abodes that actually
add to the city's charm. There are excellent Canadian paintings
at the Thomson Gallery and an attractive assortment of footwear
at the Bata Shoe Museum. The Toronto Dominion Bank has most
beautifully lighten up the eclectic Gallery of Inuit Art, the
Victorian refinement of Spadina House and the reproduction of
Fort York, colonial settlement where Toronto began its journey
and all vie for the visitor's attention.
Toronto's sights illuminate diverse facets of the city, however
in no way do they crystallize its uniqueness. The city remains
opaque, colossal and diverse to allow for a definite character.
This, though, adds an atmosphere of excitement and unpredictability
to the city. Toronto caters to all, and the city surges with
Canada's most vibrant restaurants, performing arts and nightlife
panorama.
Nestled between the wild ocean and snow-capped mountains there
aren't lot of cities in the world that can offer Vancouver's
blend of big-city lifestyle and outdoor fun and frolic in such
an intimate proximity. Skiing in the morning, sail in the afternoon
and back to town in time for that cuisine with cocktail.
